Trouble Shooting your liftmaster garage
door opener

Gear and
Sprocket also check the door balance
2. My Liftmaster will not close the
door it just flashes and clicks...Check your
garage door sensors... re
align them
3. My Liftmaster will not open the
door check your garage door
springs and your gear and sprocket.
4. My remote will
not work I just get a clicking noise with
flashing lights....check that the lock feature on your wall
button is not activated. Liftmaster garage door openers have a
security feature that locks out the remote.
5. My Liftmaster makes a funny
noise but the trolley wont move it seems to be stuck
on that bolt thing, by the motor on the rail.... The bolt thing
is your stop bolt, many companies will change the motor when
this happens. But not you... just try to back off the
adjustments on the upper limit, and it should be fine. If not
go to the door and operator adjustments
